COLLISION YOUTH IS PLANNING A PROGRESSIVE SUPPER on Friday, March 25th. We are looking for families to host the appetizer and the main meal. We are also looking for donations of food (ceasar salad, spaghetti, sauce, ice cream, drinks). If you can help in any of these ways, please see Jen.
If the Lord is leading you to consider BAPTISM, please talk to pastor Jonathan and we can discuss baptism classes.
Attention Ladies of Timberlea Baptist, on the table in the foyer you will find a copies of the MALAGASH LADIES RETREAT (30th Year!!) registration form. For those that are interested in going, I willl send in all the application forms as a group as I have done in the past.. Please also include your $50 deposit with your form and have to me by March 20th if you wish to have yours sent with the group. The idea of this is so we can get our accommodations together and will know how large of a cabin we will need. If you have any questions, please let me know and I will find someone who can answer it!! We will arrange car-pooling also as we have done in the past. Note: there is no ladies retreat at Bayside this year as the one that we attended this past fall happens every 2 years.
For the month of April, the Dorcas ladies will be sponsoring our TALENT PROJECT – goods & services – to help raise some funds towards the renovation of the pool room downstairs into a lounge area. We are opening it to the church as we know we have some very talented people!! How we will go about it – we will have a sheet with the different things listed, price (set by the talented person) and a phone # where people can order the goods or services directly. Some examples of goods: Jelly, pickles, pies, a home cooked meal, knit things, crafts, decorated cake..........Some examples of services: Driving people to appointments, cleaning, hemming pants, cutting hair, babysitting, computer service.........
If you would like to participate or have any questions, please respond to Lin before the 20th of March. All proceeds go to this project that will benefit our youth, visitors, church family.
Men's Breakfast is Saturday the 26th- 9am @ Eds!
Make Snow Angels on Saturday the 26th at the church 9am.
