**Thanks to the community for your support. We raised more than $650 dollars for the well project during the bottle drive on the 29th of May- Stay tuned for the next fundraiser!**

 

The BLT BUILD A WELL PROJECT is being coordinated by Timberlea Baptist Church (TBC). The goal, as described by Jonathan Beers, pastor of the church, is to come together as a community to build and provide water for a community in Africa.deepwell_08_lg

The church, whose focus is reaching out locally and globally to those in need, is challenging the community to unite – great things can be done when we join together for a common purpose.

 

The church kicked off this event this past Christmas and is inviting other local churches, community groups and corporate businesses to join in this outreach.

- One well can pump up to 11 000 litres of water per day and help over 500 children and their families.
